Cooking Help? Simple recipes?

Im twelve, and since today i dont have school, i want to do something special. and since i like cooking, i want to cook something nicer than microwaved pasta (lol) for lunch. my parents are out, so i cant use the stove. im pretty mature for my age, so im not going to go blow something up, believe me! i can use the microwave tho! and i cant use the oven either. i just want some simple recipes that dont need fancy ingredients, just stuff you can find in the average regular kitchen. i want some recipes for the meal itself, and a drink *no alcoholic beverages, obviously*, and a dessert. thanks in advance!Cooking Help? in the microwave you can make egg dishes . Simply add some cheese and/or vegetables.

You can also do the macaroni and cheese and add some ham and peas.

Pizza sauce on a bagel or flat bread

fresh fruit in a blender for a nice shake

beef or chicken broth with vegetables

bake potato with cheese and/or broccoli

hope some of these suggestions help
If you have microwavable pasta, make that, and then cut up some veggies and put them in a bowl covered with plastic wrap. Microwave that for a couple of minutes, until the veggies are cooked.

When I was your age, I would make 'cookie dough' where I would mix flour, sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter together and add chocolate chips.

Do 2 1/4 cups of flour

3/4 cup white sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

and about a stick of softened butter.

DO NOT eat this all at once, or too quickly or you WILL get sick! (learned that the hard way)

For a drink, you could put some lemon juice and sugar into a glass of ice water to make lemonade.

Good luck!
Grilled ham and cheese

Egg omlette with *stuff* whatever veggies/meat/cheese is in the house--or to make it easy just scramble everything together
Microwave Tomato Soup

1 cup Chicken Broth

4 cloves garlic , smashed and peeled

1 small can canned tomato

4 leaves fresh basil (or 1/4 tsp died oregano)

1 TBSP butter

salt and pepper

1. Put broth and garlic in 4 cup container

2. Open the can and cut through the tomatoes so they are eating sized. Add tomato and herb to the broth

3.Cover container with plastic wrap. Cook on high for 7 minutes.

4. Remove from oven and stir in butter.

5. Taste. Add salt and pepper if desired.

(To double, use a larger container and cook 10 minutes.)
microwave beef rice

1 c. rice

1/4 c. margarine

1 can beef consomme

1 can Campbell's French onion soup[R]

1 small can mushrooms, drained

Combine all ingredients in a casserole dish with a cover and microwave for 20 minutes or until mushrooms rise to the top and rice is done.

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a one-quart baking dish or 9 inch square pan, cream together sugar and butter. Mix in flour and milk until smooth. Pour peaches and their juice over the top.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown.
-toast a bagel, bread or english muffin.

-get a microwave safe bowl and spray it with non stick cooking spray.

-take an egg and crack it, putting the egg yolk and white into the bowl. taking a fork, whisk it around until the yolk and white are mixed well.

-microwave for about 1 minute 20 seconds. you may want to put a plate over it so you don't have a mess to clean up afterwards.

-make sure that it is cooked through. once that is determined put it on your toasted bread and add a slice of cheese! you can also put this on a tortilla shell and wrap it up too!

as to a drink, hmmm. i just like orange juice and sprite, personally.

a dessert, hmmm. depends on what you have.

-cool whip

-jello mix

-flavored yogurt, 1/2 cup

mix them all together and put it in the fridge. careful not to spill it everywhere because the flavored jello mix will stain! let it sit for about 2 hours and then open it up again and stir it up again. it's like a light fluffy but creamy dessert. my hubbies favorite. my favorite jello/yogurt combos are like raspberrry jello and strawberry yogurt. if you just have plain yogurt or vanilla yogurt that's fine too. it won't make as big as a combo as flavored yogurt but it's still good. enjoy your day off!
If you have microwavable pasta put tuna and cheese and peas mix together and yum. or make toast and put a piece of cheese on it then put in the microwave for 6 sec and eat it sweets mix peanut butter and jelly together and put it on crackers.
Try pot noodles lol!!!
