I want to cook my first recipe that is easy and simple to learn and not to dependent on salt.
Help me out!A simple easy to learn recipe that isnt dependent on the table salt!?
If it is your first recipe, I will really break it down for you.
Chicken Curry
First, put a skillet on the stove and set the stove to somewhere between medium and high. Add water to sufficently keep the bottom of the pan coated. Get a Ziploc bag and mix some kind of salad dressing (a vinigarette or italian dressing) with 1tsp of all the following: curry, paprika, garlic powder and oregano. Then add sliced chicken peices. Seal the bag and shake. Then add all these, plus cut up vegetables to the skillet and let it cook until the meat is done all the way through.
Fajitas:
You'll need:
Chicken or beef, cut in strips
Fajita seasoning (they make some salt-free)
yellow, orange and/or red bell peppers
soft taco shells
salsa or rotel green chiles and tomatoes
sour cream
Cook chicken with 2 tsp fajita seasoning until brown in a skillet.
Add bell peppers, cooking until the peppers are tender.
Serve with salsa and sour cream, if desired.A simple easy to learn recipe that isnt dependent on the table salt!?
Cheesy Hash Browns
1-2# bag of frozen hash browns, thawed; one 16 oz container of sour cream; 2 cans undiluted cream of mushroom soup; 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
Mix all ingredients together, put into a greased pan, and bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes.
This is also very good if you add cubes of ham and some broccoli florets before baking.
