What's everyone's favourite recipe for a simple comfort food?

Hey, it's a pretty crappy day and i'm so hungry but soo lazy haha. Any idea for a simple but yummy, warm, comforting meal? Thanks in advance for any help :) .What's everyone's favourite recipe for a simple comfort food?
i love this recipe..buts definetely fattening ..lol so get ready!!16 oz of wide noodles(cook them)


3 cups of chopped chicken breat finely chopped(already cooked)


2 cups of cheddar cheese


2 cans of cream of chicken soup campbells


1 cup of milk


1 tsp of butter..


I bag of potato chips..


layer noodles in bottom of pan


combine rest of ingredients


layer nicely


then on top crunch a bag of your favorite chips ....lsprinkle all over the top..bake 350 for 45 minutes...


its soooo yummy but fattening..

This is our family favorite. It sounds simple, but is really really good. Serve with warm buttered biscuits.

1 1/2 pounds ground beef


1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni


1 lrg can whole tomatoes


1 lrg can crushed tomatoes


2 cans water


1 onion


1 bag frozen corn


salt to taste


pepper to taste





saute onions until soft


brown ground beef until no longer pink


add tomatoes and water, salt and pepper. bring to a boil, add macaroni simmer for 10 minutes add frozen corn bring to a simmer and simmer for 5 minutes.

Easy Goulash





1 pound stewing beef, cut into small cubes


1 Tbs. vegetable oil


3 medium onions, cut into chunks


3 large carrots, cut coin-style


3 large ribs celery, sliced (remove the ';strings';)


1 clove garlic, minced


1 teaspoon paprika


1 teaspoon basil


Salt and pepper to taste


1 (48-ounce) can V-8 juice


1 (4-ounce) can mushrooms, drained


8 ounces extra-wide noodles, cooked according to package directions.





Brown the meat in the vegetable oil in a large saucepan. Add the vegetables, garlic, paprika, basil. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour the can of V-8 juice over the meat and vegetables and simmer for about an hour, until the juice starts to thicken. Add the mushrooms and simmer for 5 minutes longer. Ad the cooked noodles into the beef mixture, stirring it all together, then serve.
