Does anyone know of a simple easy delicious recipe for baked macorni and cheese?

Every time i make it i do not like the way it come out. I have goggled it but i find so many variations and some of those recipes are complicated. does anyone have any advice?Does anyone know of a simple easy delicious recipe for baked macorni and cheese?
If you want simple, use a can of cheddar cheese soup with 1/2 pound cooked noodles.

I normally make it for large groups so it's worth the trouble for me to cook the butter with the flour then add in milk and cheese. If you want to make a pound of pasta this is how I would make it from scratch:

1/2 stick butter

1/4 cup flour

Cook in heavy pan on medium low until it starts to smell nutty

add in

2 cups whole milk

Bring to a simmer but do not boil. Take off heat

2 cups shredded cheese

1 tsp salt

2 tsp dry mustard (optional)

1/2 tsp white pepper (optional)

Mix with one pound cooked elbows and put into a casserole pan. Top with bread crumbs and any extra cheese. Bake at 350 until crisp, about 15 minutes.Does anyone know of a simple easy delicious recipe for baked macorni and cheese?
this one is a bit complicated, but so wroth the extra effort. Its from Tyler Florence and its a family favorite

Ingredients

* Kosher salt

* 1 pound elbow macaroni

* 4 cups milk

* 2 or 3 sprigs thyme

* 4 cloves garlic, smashed and divided

* 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

* 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

* 5 1/2 cups shredded sharp white Cheddar

* Freshly ground black pepper

* 1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley

* 4 slices bacon, cut crosswise into thin strips

* 1 large onion, diced

* 2 garlic cloves, smashed

* Leaves from 1/4 bunch fresh thyme

Directions

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the macaroni and cook for 8 to 9 minutes, until al dente. Drain.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

In a small saucepan heat the milk with the thyme sprigs and 2 garlic cloves. Melt the butter in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly, to keep lumps from forming. Strain the solids out of the milk and whisk it into the butter and flour mixture. Continue to whisk vigorously, and cook until the mixture is nice and smooth. Stir in the 4 cups of the cheese and continue to cook and stir to melt the cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Add the cooked macaroni and the parsley and fold that all in to coat the macaroni with the cheese mixture. Scrape into a 3-quart baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining 1 1/2 cups cheese. Bake for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

While that bakes, heat a saute pan. Add the bacon, render the fat and cook until crispy. Add onion, garlic and thyme leaves and cook for about 5 minutes to soften the onion. Season with salt and pepper.

To serve, scatter the bacon mixture over the mac and cheese. Use a big spoon to scoop out servings, making sure you get some of the smoking bacon mixture on each spoonful
I don't have an actual recipe:) I make about 2 cups of a white sauce (with garlic) and boil elbow macaroni. My husband likes chopped veggies in it, so I cut up red %26amp; green bell peppers, onions and sun-roasted peppers. I layer cooked pasta, shredded cheese (combination of cheddar %26amp; mozzarella) and veggies - in 3 layers each - and pour the white sauce over the top. My mom put cornflake crumbs on top, but I like it better without the crunch. Bake at 375 for about 30 min, or until bubbly. When you scoop down through it, the cheese gets mixed with everything else
All I can say is:

http://www.kraftcanada.com

They have so many ways to make it it's not even funny, just search in the top corner for it. There's one in particular on there that i haven't tried yet but it looks super-good. Basically you just cook macaroni regularly, then i think you mix in some mozza cheese and butter, then put it in a pan and put more cheese on top. Either way, what better place to find a great recipe for it than the makers of Kraft Dinner?? Good luck!
My grandma used to make mac n cheese with mostaccoli noodles and put it in a deep baking dish (like 4'; and it was maybe a 12'; long and 9'; wide round dish) and bake it, probably around 350 for a half hour or 45 minutes or something like that. i think she put extra cheese on it too. and i think she used cheddar for it. the very top would be a little hard but we liked it and it was to die for =D
go to www.allrecipes.com and search for mac %26amp; cheese

They have users rate the recipes for taste and how easy it is. Many also leave comments on how to improve the recipe. I've always found this site very helpful. I like to add beaten eggs and mustard to the mac and cheese and then coat the top in bread crumbs before baking.
neelys have a wonderful recipe topped w bacon or potato chips...but i am picky also with it.should be on food network site...

do you have nick and jims drive in they make it fresh daily and have tons of melted cheddar dripping off it.I've decided it easier at times to stop by there and buy it.

paula deen has a great one made w blue cheese..but some people dont liek blue cheese.i love it !1
