Lge Egg, beaten
1/4 c Milk
1 t Vanilla extract
1/4 ts Ground Cinnamon
3 x Slices Bread
Beat the egg, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon together in a
flat dish such as a soup plate or pie pan, that will
accomodate the bread and make it easy to remove the
bread once it's wet. Add 1 slice of bread at a time,
turning so that both sides are coated and absorb some
of the liquid. Remove the bread, slice by slice, to a
plate. Heat butter or oil on a large griddle or
skillet, reduce the heat, and brown the bread briefly
on each side. Serve with syrup, honey, cooked or raw
fruit, or plain.

Take 4 slices of bread - you can use white, wheat or sourdough. Beat 3 eggs until fluffy. Place one slice in the bowl with the beaten eggs. Let bread saturate on one side then turn so that other side absorbs egg batter. Do this with each slice of bread. Take one slice at a time from the beaten eggs and place on a butter melted, medium heat, fry pan or griddle. When light brown on one side, flip to other side. Place on dish and sprinkle with cinnamon or powdered sugar. You can even use a dollop of sour cream with the cinnamon.
Heat a skillet or pan over medium heat, melt butter in pan just before toast goes in.
Put two eggs, 1/2 - 3/4 cup of milk, half and half, or heavy cream in a shallow casserole dish. place the bread in the custard for 20-30 sec, turn over and place into the skillet. cook about 1 min. per side or until the toast provides some resistence when pressed with your finger.
you can do it using cinnamon rolls!
cut the rolls in half, and dip them into a mixture of eggs, milk, and cinnamon, then cook them on your stovetop.
Not necessarily french toast but I make cinnamon toast for my kids a lot. Toast a slice of bread, butter it, sprinkle it with sugar and cinnamon.
Just add a little cinnamon to the French toast recipe on this site:

Hope it helps.
